Customer Reviews
OK but lacklustre performance
Pros: Cheap and looks good, light weight.
Cons: Not a great and doesn't throw good loops
Best Uses: close quarters fly casting
Comments: I bought this after looking at the glitzy marketing that comes from Redington. The reviews looked great but I think some of were 'cooked'. This rod feels great, looks great but one cast and 'oh my, I made a mistake'. It's ok out to 70 feet but not great, best in close. I think a tfo bvk is a much better proposition at this price-point. Redington have great marketing but some of their rods are over marketed.
