 >  > Okuma Integrity Fly Reels - B Series
Description

Okuma Integrity Fly Reels feature a large arbor design for faster line retrieval. This is great for line management when hard charging fish take out line and then change direction, forcing you to take up line quickly. The large arbor spool creates less line coiling as the line lays in larger circles on the spool.

These reels are built with strong, one-way disc drag systems. This system allows for super smooth high-end drag pressure with drag free retrieval.

Features of the Okuma Integrity Fly Reels include:

  • Large arbor spool for high-speed retrieves
  • Precision die-cast AlumiLite frame and spool construction
  • Oversized cork disk drag system
  • Exposed rim for added control
  • One-way roller bearing drive
  • Stainless steel main shaft
  • Quick release spool
  • Easy left or right retrieve conversion
  • Matte black in color

I had heard about the Okuma reels from my grandson so I got online to look at them and see how much they cost. All I could get was all of the different models with no explanation what the difference was between the different models. A good friend who does a lot of fishing recommended Fish USA to me and said he orders everything from them. I called them and talked to one of the salesman and he could answer all of my questions about the reels and then I was able to decide which one I wanted. I ordered that day and got a great price and had my reel two days later. I now will do all of my business with Fish USA.

Super Quality Reel At A Bargain Price!

About Me:
Life-long fresh & salt fly fisherman
This is my 3rd Okuma Integrity fly reel. I couldn't be more pleased with the quality and performance of their products. I own two 5/6 weight reels with spare spools and recently bought this 10/11 weight reel & spare spool. The design and workmanship on this Okuma reel is outstanding and comparable to the finest fly reels on the market (Okuma makes millions of reel components for Shimano, Diawa and many other brands). It feels and performs like a fine Swiss watch. The drag is super smooth and adjusts instantly. I really appreciate the ability to change spools literally in seconds. The design is rugged and ultra-reliable. I live in Oregon and have hauled in some monster salmon with this reel. In the past, I've foolishly spent serious money on big name image fly gear... but finally figured out that fish really don't care what brand you have in your hands. This Okuma Integrity reel is a winner and an absolute joy to use.

Bought the reel for flyfishing for steelhead. Haven't landed too many yet, but they are fun to have on. The not landing has nothing to do with the reel. So far it has been flawless.

I bought a 8/9a about year ago. If the reel gets wet (as if submerged or in a soaking rain) the drag is unreliable. Mine slips. The drag tension is not consistent.

I purchase the 10/11 to fish for Ablies in NC, but I just returned from a Key West trip and landed a 110 Tarpon and the reel operated flawless. I could of used a larger Flyrod and Reel but this 10/11 wt worked great.
