Customer Reviews
 Great Small Fly Box
Pros: Well made and compact.
Comments: Is great for storing dry flies and wet flies. Compartments are easy to use for dry flies and the clips are perfect for wet flies, streamers, and nymphs.
 Decent product
Pros: durable, good value
Cons: clip system could be easier
Comments: I have both the 6 and 10 window versions. The boxes are solid and stay closed until you open them and it's not too hard to open them even in cold weather. Before you buy this, just make sure you want to purchase a "window" format. You're going to end up grouping your flies by well and it's not really possible to line them up or organize them by size unless you sort them by wells/windows. That said, I'm ok with that and can simply open only one window and sort them on the lid or on my palm. someone else wrote the windows sometimes pop open by themselves and it does happen rarely, but I've never lost any flies. just open the whole box slowly and you won't have a problem. I think I like the foam lid better than the clips (I have both) because the clips are harder to use on small flies but clips do allow you to carry a few more there, maybe the ones you use regularly. Overall, I'm happy with it.

 Nice nymph box
Comments: I use this as a nymph hotel to store my extra supply of nymphs. I bought the version that has just flat foam on one side. I like that I can open one door, turn the box upside down and dump just the contents of the one compartment onto the foam side of the box for easy sorting. The drawbacks to this this design of fly box (this includes all boxes and all manufacturers of this style) are; 1. The top doesn't snap closed. 2. The individual doors can sometimes open on their own. Still... I really like this type of box for certain uses, am glad I bought it and would buy another. The price was really good too!

I would buy this again
Best Uses: Fly Fishing
Comments: I have a bunch of fly boxes, and I don't like most of them, but I love this one. It separates flys so when you take off a wet one, it dosen't come in contact with any others. That's been a problem for me in the past. It's light, and compact. Its become my main box.

 Okuma fly boxes
Pros: Functional, Easy To Use, Durable
Comments: Good fly box. Has windowed boxes and aluminum clips for flies. One complaint is if you allow the spring-loaded windowed boxes to "flip" open, occasionally, this will send one of the flies they contain sailing out of the box! Also, you can disrupt some of the three dimensionality of your larger dry flies if you leave them in the clips for a prolonged period of time. Otherwise, I am quite happy with this fly box! I would buy it again.

 Great Flybox
Pros: Durable, Functional
Best Uses: Fly Fishing
Comments: Good, well thought out design.
Texas Hill Country
 Nice Flybox
Pros: Durable, Functional, Easy To Maintain
Cons: Tough for big fingers
Comments: I like this box overall but it is tough for big fingers. The specific compartments require that you use very specific flies - which could be useful but it was limiting. Great construction and very durable. Overall I'm glad I bought it but it requires very specific purpose.
 Okuma fly box
Pros: Functional, Best product for cost
Cons: Box does not latch closed
Best Uses: Fly storage
Comments: This box is the best deal for the money. I recommend it, even though it does not latch. The box does do a good job staying closed, I am anticipating this to loosen over time. The product is easily replaced at this price as opposed to those costing upwards of a few hundred dollars!
 I have 3 of them
Pros: Functional, Easy To Maintain, Light, Easy To Use
Best Uses: Fresh Water
Comments: good product, very useful to keep your flies in order. you can classify flies by size, colour and, the part I like most, if you need a certain fly you don't have to open the whole box, only the compartment where the fly is.
