Minn Kota Terrova Trolling Motors are freshwater bow mount motors that feature an innovative easy in, easy out stow/deploy mechanism. The balanced motor design makes stowing easy, and a master cut-off switch automatically turns off the motor when stowed. Terrova motors also feature a waterproof, low-profile electric steer foot pedal lets you take precise control with less than one degree of steering resolution. These are the new benchmark in electric-steer, bow-mount performance. Terrova meets any obstacle and puts it in its place to help you fish without limits.

Minn Kota Terrova Trolling Motors are constructed with an indestructible composite shaft that is stronger than steel, flexes on impact, and won’t break, kink or corrode. These motors feature the Weedless Wedge 2 Prop that pushes weeds away and takes on the thick stuff without battery-draining chopping and hacking. The weedless prop features swept-back, flared blades for unrelenting, reliable prop performance.

Feature of Minn Kota Terrova Trolling Motors include:

  • Terrova's innovative stow/deploy lever
  • Waterproof, low-profile electric steer foot pedal
  • Lift-Assist to cuts the weight of stow and deploy in half

Very good and new features are great.
Pros: Fairly simple
Cons: remote a little cluttered
Best Uses: Locking on a spot and smooth turning
Comments: This was a replacement for a power drive 55lb thrust model with co pilot installed. i thought that was a nice set up. This is way superior in every way. I did not get the I-link version just the I pilot model. It is a small remote and the buttons are a little cluttered but time will train my fingers. The terrova model is superior in every way over the powerdrive except the stowed position. It really jiggles around unless you slide your depth collar down everytime you move which is a pain. I purchased the ram mount for the head to keep it locked in place. The turning is so much more precise than previous model. It will move so little when you hit the button and is so much finer than powerdrive models. It does not make a difference on speed from one to the other but is surely a super upgrade. I hope it helps for some info on this. It so far is a great investment. Now if they could only get the price down some It would be the best out there.

 Minn Kota Terrova Trolling Motor
Pros: GPS Navigation, remote control
Best Uses: Spot Lock
Comments: excellent trolling motor . I found my self mostly using the hand held remote and not the foot pedal. I could of bought the Power Drive V2 with just the remote control and no pedal and saved some money.

 Terrova 80 Review
Pros: power, control box, US2, easier launch and lift function
Cons: US2 cable is a hassle., motor is heavier with US2 feature, motor mount forces unit to sit higher on bow, making prop sit higher in water.
Best Uses: slow trolling
Comments: I did my first launch with the new Terrova 80 with AP, a 60" shaft and US2. On the plus side, the motor worked well and had a little more power than the 8-year old Power Drive 74 with AP and a 60"shaft, which it replaced. The control box is a distinct improvement over the Power Drive version, due to its remote AP switch and general user friendliness. The US2 is a good concept and enables the equivalent of an early advisory function since i provides a depth reading sooner than the transom mounted transducer does. The motor assembly is easier to handle up and down than the Power Drive. Downsides are as follows: cable for the US2 is an added trip nuisance. Also, the US2 added bulk and weight to the motor assembly. The Terrova when mounted, though its shaft is same length as the old Power Drive's, sits higher on the boat and in effect caused the prop to be a half-inch higher in the water. That's a problem because my boat top sits high above the water and I need all the prop depth under water that I can get.
 Great Trolling Motor
Comments: The only thing is I found it for $230 less at [@], but to late.
