Metz Dry Fly Necks

In the early 1970's Metz revolutionized the fly tying world by introducing the first genetically engineered hackle to the fly fishing industry. They were the first to produce true "dry fly quality" hackle, in a complete range of colors.

Deep, natural consistent colors and long, flexible stems are the Metz trademark. Stringent breeder selection coupled with strict grading procedures, guarantees top quality hackle, every time. Using a quality genetic hackle ensures that each dry fly tied is high floating and durable.

The Metz Dry Fly Necks in the # 2 grade are available in whole and half necks.

Metz Dry Fly Necks are made in the U.S.A.

 Pretty good
Pros: nice stiff feathers
Cons: residue on feathers, hackle stuffed into a very small box when shipped
Best Uses: dry flys
Comments: The hackle I received was in decent condition. Some of the smaller feathers had some type of residue on them. Overall pretty happy with the purchase.
