Luhr Jensen Jet Divers

Description

Luhr Jensen Jet Divers feature a unique, buoyant design that collects water pressure against its wings to dive; yet when pressure is relaxed, the Jet Diver will float off of structure. The preeminent diver for river back-trolling applications, the Jet Diver enables the presentation of lures and baits tight to the river bottom where most fish are found, without getting hung-up in this difficult environment. Trolling anglers incorporate Jet Divers as controlled-dive tools that are highly capable of bumping over bottom structure, and floating free should they become stuck.

Features of the Luhr Jensen Jet Divers include:

  • Use trolling or river backtrolling
  • Fish-attracting colors
  • Floats at rest
  • UV Bright finish reflects more light energy, strengthening the Jet Diver's visibility (select colors)

 Jet Divers (from prior model)
Pros: Inexpensive and works great
Cons: I have several of these in various sizes and colors bought from different stores and the all eventually start leaking at the seams, I started applying a good glue to the seams before I use them.
Best Uses: I run down riggers for Kokanee salmon but I use these behind planner boards to get my baits down as well, I actually get more strikes off my boards using these than I do off the down riggers using the same baits.
Comments: I love them, they work. I usually run a size 30 and a size 40 in various colors for the kokanee salmon.

Does the JOB (from prior model)
Pros: Simple, No false "trips", floats
Best Uses: Trolling for trout
Comments: I use the 20', 30', 40' Jet Divers on Shasta Lake, California. They all get the line, leader and lure down to where the trout are. Since they float I seldom get one snagged. If I do, I back up and give a pull and it usually frees.

Jet Divers are GREAT (from prior model)
Pros: Simple to use
Cons: not really
Best Uses: Trolling for trout, Getting down to where I want to be
Comments: I use the 20', 30' and 40' divers. I add a flasher or dodger no more than a couple of feet after the diver and then to a 3 foot leader and my favorite lure. Boat speed is 1.5 to 2 mph. I use a trolling plate to bring down the boat speed. These divers will float to the surface if the boat stops so I rarely snag the bottom.
waiting to try (from prior model)
Comments: just received. looks good. fishing for walleye in the summer you got to get the lure down. this should do the trick

 Excellent Product (from prior model)
Pros: Easy To Use, Durable, Functional
Best Uses: Fresh Water
Comments: Great product, better than other divers. I use off the single planer boards. I like them better because if you are trolling two or more jet divers and have to stop your boat to fight a large fish on one rod, the other divers float to the surface rather sinking like other type diing devices.
