G. Loomis IMX Steelhead Float Spinning Rods

Description

The G. Loomis IMX Steelhead Float Spinning Rods are designed for those anglers who prefer to float fish with spinning reels over casting reels. These rods have the length to get your lure/bait where it needs to be while maintaining the control and the power to reel the fish in once it is on.

The G. Loomis IMX Steelhead Float Spinning Rods are balanced nicely with a comfortable swing weight. You will notice how light and well balanced it is at the end of a long day on the water when your casting arm isn't tired out.

Sensitivity and length are key when your bait floats down an extended drift and the G. Loomis IMX Steelhead Float Spinning Rods have both. The 1262 model is great for small to medium size rivers or streams, lighter jigs and floats and works great for lower/clearer water conditions you find in the summer time. The 1363 model is a great choice for fishing big rivers or streams, using slightly larger jigs and bait rigs, and fall and winter fishing when the water is higher and the fish are bigger.

Features of the G. Loomis IMX Steelhead Float Spinning Rods include:

  • 15 % lighter than the original IMX rods
  • Ergonomic handle to provide better comfort, a sure grip, and balance
  • Action specific tapers for better balance and sensitivity
  • Fuji K-Frames guides that reduce tangles with braided line

Well where to begin I can say this is one sweet stick at 11'4" it's very well balanced I can fish a very small at real with it G.Loomis did a very awesome job with this rod not hard to transport like other long rods and it's not a nightmare to put together since its a 2 pc rod I generally bobber and jig with this rod and you can get some very long sweet drifts in your fish days you will look at life at a whole new view cast in places you have only dreamed of bead fishing this rod is pretty amazing also cast into new slots you have never fished also a sweet stick if you like to bobber and egg for coho trust me once you fish it and find out for a long rod it doest wear your arm out after fishing all day and actually is one tough rod I would suggest you get one
