Frogg Toggs Tekk Toad Wading Jacket
Pros: Waterproof, Light weight
Cons: Zippers jam easily
Comments: A very light weight and easy to pack jacket. Basically, this wading jacket is made up of the same light weight material like the Pro Action jacket. However, it has improvements like a secure hood "not detachable", lots of pockets, and a neoprene cuff to minimize water from seeping in and down your sleeves. The water proof material is light weight but will keep you dry even if you get caught in one of those 50+ mile an hour Alaskan wind and rain storms. It's only vulnerability is it can be easily torn should you go hiking through thick Alaskan brush, Also, the zippers on the pockets can be easily jammed if you open up the pockets in a rush. However, for it's price point and ability to keep you dry even in a full on nasty rain storm, this jacket can't be beat. They say you get what you pay for and in my opinion, you get a lot when you buy this jacket. On my last Alaskan trip, I used this jacket as my back up but ended up using it on the entire trip when my expensive Gortex jacket failed me.

 Great coat for the price
Pros: Price, Lightweight, water resistant, Dries Quickly
Cons: Puffy even with layers
Best Uses: Rain
Comments: Great coat for the price. I live in Oregon and we see our fair share of rain here. The coat keeps me dry and protects from the wind. Plenty of pocket space so that I don't even have to use my chest pack. I bought the coat specifically for the neoprene sleeve cuffs but am a little dissapointed with them. Went fishing today and dunked my hands to grab something and came up with wet sleeves underneath the coat...this is my first coat with neoprene cuffs so I don't know what to compare them too...otherwise, great coat for the price.

OK light duty coat
Pros: Dries Quickly, Waterproof, Lightweight
Cons: Tears Easily
Best Uses: Fly Fishing, Freshwater Fishing
Comments: I had only used the jacket a few times before both side pocket zippers had ripped from normal use. The other pockets are fine and it does a good job of keeping you dry. I havent used it in heavy rain but see no indication it wouldn't work. I am not too upset by the tearing because the jacket was very economical. I will use as a spare jacket if anyone needs one. I would recommend it to anyone who doesnt carry a lot of gear with them while fishing. For the money it is a good buy in my opinion.

 FROGG TOGGS still has it
Pros: Waterproof, Lightweight, Breathable
Best Uses: Fly Fishing, Freshwater Fishing
Comments: frogg toggs has upgraded their materials so that they now allow for sweat to escape. The new dri pore is still waterproof as their original materials so you know you stay dry and the neoprene cuffs are really great for cold weather fishing to keep the water out when you land fish. OVERALL A GREAT JACKET FOR HALF THE PRICE. o only reason it didnt recieve full stars is it takes over night to completely dry from a day of fishing( the outside, not the inside)
