 Does the job
Pros: Price, Durability
Best Uses: Stream fishing
Comments: I bought 2 of these because I wanted a durable net for trout fishing but one that wasn't so expensive that I couldn't trust my young sons with it. This net works fine for landing stream trout; the elastic lanyard cordage is a plus.

Comments: Fished the upper Sacramento River this past week and this net performed great. Caught Rainbows up to 22" and was glad I had this net to land these fish.Elastic strap secures net over your head and shoulder when wading in the water and aluminum frame can take a beating.Like the shape.

Great
Comments: Add one old aluminum handle from a broken broom or mop and you have a "old mans" LONG REACH NET! Tough to do that with a wooden one! I LOVE IT AND HAVE IT EXTENDED TO ABOUT 41 INCHES LONG. Old Dad

 Good net for the price
Pros: Lightweight
Best Uses: Trout fishing
Comments: For the money, it's a very good net. Extremely lightweight and seems well constructed. The bungee cord/clip is OK but not the best way to carry this net. I'd personally remove it and use my own magnetic clip or similar.

All nets are not created equal
Pros: Lightweight, Fabric-covered lanyard, Durable
Best Uses: Fly Fishing, Freshwater Fishing
Comments: I bought this landing net to replace a less expensive one that I had ordered. The cheaper net had mesh that was so rough it would have scrubbed the slime coat off any fish you used it on. This one has a soft, "fish-friendly" mesh that will facilitate catch-and-release. I threw the other one away and kept this one. For only a few dollars more it is far superior.
