Fish-Skull Living Eyes 3D Fly Eyes
Description

Fish-Skull Living Eyes 3D Fly Eyes are the next generation of 3D fish eyes for fly tying. Using the latest in photo-realistic holographic technology, Flymen has developed the most realistic range of 3D fish-eyes for fly tying on the planet at a very compelling price point. No longer will fly tiers have to rely on fish eyes created using an “artist’s impression” of what they think fish eyes look like.

Living Eyes 3D Fly Eyes are adhesive backed, but are best applied using super glue or epoxy. These eyes are perfect for freshwater and saltwater streamer patterns and salmon and steelhead flies. These eyes work with standard patterns or in conjunction with Fish-Skull Weighted Baitfish Fly Heads (sold separately).

 Bug Eye
Pros: great colors!
Cons: only 10 pair
Comments: Great looking eyes, but pricey for what you get.
 trying this as an alternative
Pros: right size, worked pefect
Comments: Last year when fishing a lake in Canada, while hiding from the wind in a cove, we accidentally stumbled upon a forage fish in the lake. The shiner/chub type minnows, about 3 inches long, were in schools of about 100-200 fish. Turns out that I had 2 bags of gulp that looked exactly like this bait fish. We went onto the other side of the cove (a bit more wind) and I used the gulp on a 1/8 oz ""Mooneye"" jig head. This was the real deal...! We ran completely out of gulp in about 45 minutes..! We used other gulp minnows on the Mooneye jugs with great success but not nearly like the success on the color we ran out of. Anyone who has purchased MoonEye Jigs know that they cost an arm and leg - I think 4 are nearly $5 Bucks. I found some bare lead head from another supplier, was able to squeeze the heads flat in a vice, apply powder coating in black, and super glue the Fish Skull Living Eyes on the heads. I made about 100 heads in 1/8oz and 1/4 oz with the Mooneye look for a fraction of the costs. I won't feel too bad when I hook a rock in 20-40 feet of water and lose a head. Good luck to anyone that tries this method...

Best looking 3D eyes on the market
Pros: Super realistic and easy to apply
Cons: Assymetrical. Need left sided eyes
Comments: I have searched countless hours to find the right 3D eyes for my lures. These eyes are hands down, the best on the market. The only thing that I can see that I would change about them is the Wind and Earth styles need to have a right and left eye. All the eyes look the same, but honestly it's not a make or break point. The fish I am after aren't that picky.

Pros: Eyes look nice
Cons: Assymetrical. Need left sided eyes, and right sided eyes.
Comments: Nice eyes. But they only face one way since they are assymetrical.
