Exactly what I thought it would be
Pros: performance
Comments: I have written a review already on these rods, and in it I mentioned that I liked it so much I was going to order the 6'3" M/MF. I did so and am extremely happy with the purchase. First, I cannot say enough good things about the service at It is OUTSTANDING. Extremely fast shipping, and when they ship a rod, it is in a very stiff cardboard tube that cannot be bent by anything short of a forklift. Now to the rod...the 6'3" length is perfect for working topwater baits and shallow running crankbaits, or smaller deep divers. The two piece handle is the ideal length for keeping the rod tip pointed down without it getting in the way, or hitting you in the belly when doing a "walk the dog" or jerk/pause retrieve with things like a popper or smaller sized spooks. I would also think it to be great for 1/4 to 1/2 oz Buzzbaits in heavy cover. The tip is soft enough to allow the fish to engulf the bait before you jerk it out of it's mouth. The Medium backbone is plenty stout to fight the fish after hookup, and the Medium Fast action allows the rod to flex in the top 1/3 when it needs to. Spool this up with something like a Shimano Citica or Curado, or other low profile reel that you can palm and it is extremely comfortable to fish. Highly recommended rod for the price. Fishes as good as rods I own at twice the price.

 Great Rod for the Money
Pros: Very sensitive
Comments: I purchased the 6'9" MH-F for Worm fishing and could not be happier with the purchase. IMO, it's the perfect length which allows long casts when in open water or more accurate casts in shallow water with cover. The rod has plenty of backbone yet the tip is not too stiff. VERY fact, it's more sensitive than many rods costing twice as much. The handle design is unique and very comfortable and the finish on the rod is a beautiful "sea" green color, which looks great paired with my Shimano Curado 200G7 reel and 12-14lb test line. This is a very balanced combination and you can cast from 1/8th - 3/8th (not including weight of the worm) with ease. Highly recommended and I will likely order the 6'3" M-MF for my topwater fishing, as I think it would be the ideal action/length for fishing poppers, spooks near cover where accuracy is important, as is the ability to have the rod tip pointed downward to work the bait properly.

 Perfect match for finesse baitcaster
Pros: 1/8th oz lure rating is accurate, Very light, Comfortable reel seat, Very sensitive
Cons: Grip behind reel seat is a little short
Best Uses: Finesse baitcasting setup
Comments: I recently purchased the 6'10" M-F 2 Piece casting model, and paired it with a Daiwa Sol Baitcasting reel. Excellent combo for casting light lures. I was concerned that the rod wouldn't load up well with small jig heads, but during testing, I have been able to launch 1/16th oz jig + 3" Keitech Swing Impact approx. 30 yards. I'll have to do further testing and measurements to confirm that, but it will at least out cast my spinning setup with 1/8th oz and up. I'm even more excited that I was able to put this combo together as a 2 piece! Only complaint that I have is that the grip directly below the reel seat is a little short, but reel seat is otherwise very comfortable.
