Pros: One handed casting, Smooth casting on rear drag model, Well built, Either hand retrieve
Cons: Heavy
Best Uses: Casting
Comments: Bought this for one handed use for my son with c.p. He is 6 and can easily operate this reel. Size 80 has a smooth rear drag and casts a mile! Fish USA was hands down best price, and it arrived in 2 days on a Saturday with their free shipping on $30+. Ordering a spare tonight.

 nice reel for perch'n
Pros: small
Cons: front drag
Comments: Small compact reel like the underspin put on Diawa rod will test it when perch'n season

 US 40 XD
Comments: Reel is poorly designed. Line does not come off spool smoothly. Line tends to wrap around front drag knob when retrieving. Should be changed to rear drag system. Very weak construction.

 Not up to par
Pros: good smooth drag
Cons: line does not come out of reel face smoothly
Best Uses: panfish
Comments: Reel not up to par for Daiwa. Line does not come out smoothly. Seems like drag adjustment knob in face of cover impedes line flow. Seems as if it is too long so line has a hard time getting around it without friction.

Excellent combo with Pinnacle Noodle rod.
Pros: Well built, smooth drag
Best Uses: Steelhead
Comments: Easy to install and cast, be careful to maintain some winding tension when spooling up
