Reel is poorly designed. Line does not come off spool smoothly. Line tends to wrap around front drag knob when retrieving. Should be changed to rear drag system. Very weak construction.

Not up to par

About Me:

Reel not up to par for Daiwa. Line does not come out smoothly. Seems like drag adjustment knob in face of cover impedes line flow. Seems as if it is too long so line has a hard time getting around it without friction.
Pros: good smooth drag
Cons: line does not come out of reel face smoothly
Best Uses: panfish
Excellent combo with Pinnacle Noodle rod.
