 Stiff rod! so-so reel
Pros: Stiff rod
Cons: Stiff rod
Best Uses: big lures, big fish
Comments: I'm used to the Ugly Stiks, and generally cast lures under 3/4 oz. Daiwa prints the lure range on the rod as 3/4-3 oz. If you want to toss heavy lures to big fish, this is your tool. The reel is smooth, but flipping the bail takes more torque on the crank than I like. YMMV.
 Great combos for the price
Comments: these are great tough rods and reels, i bought 2 10' ones, i use them all the time and they still function perfectly.
