Custom Jigs & Spins Slender Spoons

Description

Custom Jigs & Spins Slender Spoons are a bent ultralight spoon that offers incredible action and flashy attraction. Each of the Slender Spoons are individually blister packed and comes complete with its own size 1 or size 2 snap. These versatile spoons can be fished on open water or on hard water.

Slender Spoons work great for ice fishing because they are so thin which really provides more action than any other jigging spoon. Slight jigging or rapid jig and pause methods work the best for these spoons. The 116 ounce size is great for panfish. Custom Jigs & Spins Slender Spoons also come in larger sizes that work great on the open water when you are going after larger fish like walleye.

Please Note: The 5/16 ounce spoons are significantly thicker than the 1/4 ounce spoons.

Custom Jigs & Spins Slender Spoons are made in the U.S.A.

 Catch everything
Pros: lots of flash
Cons: Hooks
Best Uses: Ice fishing
Comments: Just got my order in and could not wait to try them out. Caught walleye, perch, crappie and a catfish through the ice trying these out for the first time. Tipped with a minnow head and hold on.
Never know what you're going to catch
Pros: multi-species
Best Uses: Jigging, Casting
Comments: I love using these while panfishing. With my other rods, I'll setup slip bobbers, but then with my 3rd rod I'll play with one of these. I use the smallest size, and replace the treble hook with a small single hook. Tip it with a little chunk of crawler and you never know what you're going to catch. I like to cast it out as far as I can, and then pop it back at various depths in the water column. I caught multiple bonus walleye while doing this.

 Catches fish
Pros: catches fish
Cons: treble hook is a little small
Comments: used in shallow water for crappies and perch. Slow fall seems to attract fish from outside immediate area being fished. Best color this year, silver with red tape.
 SLENDER SPOONS
Pros: Great action
Comments: Custom slender spoons seam to work very well for catching fish when other baits do not seam to work

Pros: great action, good color choice
Comments: I have several of these spoons and the fluttering action always gets a bite. these are the best lures for perch and walleye
 great spoon
Comments: Great spoon. Recommend using a snap swivel for the best action. The slow fall works when other spoons don't.

 Favorite ice spoon
Comments: I use the 1/16 oz spoon for ice fishing crappies. I have caught perch, gills, bass, white bass and walleye on it also. I am looking forward to using the 1/8 oz and 1/4 oz in open water this season. I just discovered this spoon a few months ago. Both the action of the spoon and the product quality are fantastic. The only down side is the color tape has been known to fall off when fish have abused it a lot.

Use bigger sizes for best action
Pros: large sizes great action
Cons: small sizes poor action
Comments: have tried all sizes, small like the 1/16oz fall flat and slow, but I recommend bigger sizes to have the lure wobble and flutter as it falls. adding a snap swivel on the line changes action too

 Favorite new walleye spoon
Pros: lots of flash, easy to use, multi-species
Comments: Used small slender spoon for a couple years ice fishing with varies results, but tried bigger sized jigging this summer and had good results on walleye, what a uniquely shaped spoon unlike anything else around

 Slender spoon
Pros: good for multiple species, slow fall
Cons: hook quality
Comments: Best thing about the slender spoon is there is no need to add any bait when using the lure. Has great slow fall when jigging or casting, and the added weight of a minnow actually seems to hurt the action of the lure making it fall too fast. Wish it came with stainless treble hooks, I find myself often switching out bent hooks for new ones. But overall a good lure.

 Slow fall, great flutter action
Pros: great action, good color choice, no bait needed
Comments: I like the slender spoon ice fishing when fish are on the negative side and not willing to hit bigger lures or big bait. The flutter fall often grabs their attention then light jigging above them triggers a strike. Great for walleye in bigger sizes

 Slender Spoons
Pros: Jigging
Comments: I got a few of each size except for the 1/4. I found the spoon to be very good quality. The holes are even on the spoon. The hook is a little on the cheap side, but are relatively sharp. How long they stay this way is yet to be determined. Lighter spoons have real nice flutter action in the water while the 5/16 drops well, similar to what you'd get out of a pimple. Looking forward to using these for perch and walleye this year!
