Cortland Slip-On Leader Loops are the ideal way of connecting your leader to fly line. Simply slide your fly line into the center of the braided loop connector and secure the connector to the fly line with the small shrink tube sleeve. The strong, permanent loop on the connector can then be used to make a loop-to-loop connection with your leaders.

Each package contains four leader loops and enough shrink tubing for at least four connections.

Cortland Slip-On Leader Loops are made in the U.S.A.

 leader connector
Pros: easy to use
Comments: great product price is right smooth transition thru the guides
 Great as always
Comments: I put these on the majority of my rigs that don't have a welded loop. Easy to install haven't had one let go yet (knock on wood).
 Easy leader loops
Comments: Easy to use but prefer to whip them on rather than use the heat shrink tube supplied with them.

 the only way to go
Pros: Easy To Handle, affordable, makes changes in leader much more simple
Comments: for those of us hwo are knot-challenged these leader loops make all tthe rest simple. I was glad to finally fiind them again from an American source. I am trying the floating variety this tiime and expect they will help me track line as a mini strike indicator. We'll see.

some observations about this product
Pros: Easy To Handle
Best Uses: Fresh Water, Deep Water
Comments: This connector consistently floats (not always) which is a vast improvement over my previous connector. I used heat from a 250 Watt bulb to shrink the heat shrink tube. I rotated the heat shrink next to the bulb. Hot water did not work for me. It definitely weighs more than my previous connector so in turn I adjusted my casting. If you want a light touch in casting it can be a factor.
