The Clam Ice Auger Drill Plate Conversion Kit converts any 18-volt drill to a lightweight, powerful ice auger when used with Clam’s 6 Inch Hand Auger.

The industrial ball bearings of the Clam Ice Auger Drill Plate Conversion Kit absorbs the load from the auger so the drill is only used to spin the auger and not to support the auger torque, which greatly extends the life of the drill.

Keep in mind that i have a 8in auger and that is well beyond its specs 6inch max When you use use in 1st gear only make sure when mount the drill it is straight with shafts robs power if you don't most importantly....lift drill a lot and clean out hole a lot when drilling save battery a lot ..if you hog on it in deep ice you only get like 3 holes cus the battery will shutdown if you drill is old and beat up it will not work to good same for batteries if there newish they work great if there not they will not turn the drill well keep in mind I am using a 8 inch auger and it says to use no bigger then a 6 so a 3,4,5,6 would probably cut double the holes and work great 8 in auger is all I have

I went through a Dewalt and Milwaukee before I realize you will need an awfully expensive drill to get your auger through the ice any 18 volt drill I don't think so
