Blue Fox's Pixee Spoons are compact lures, originally designed for western rivers. This means they cast a mile. Blue Fox has also added more colors to their Pixee line-up along with UV. This makes it easy to match your colors up with local prey and preferences. I use them when I want a spoon that will get down to the bottom quickly in lakes, punch through vegetation in shallows, and on rivers. I've used them for pike, pickerel, largemouth, and steelhead. Try casting a 1/2 oz or 78 oz-er with a wire leader and 4" or 5" grub plastic trailer and 12 lb line into cover during the dog days of summer. It is a great way to flush out bass or pike lounging in the oxygenated shade of weed cover.
Pros: Easy to Use, Wide Variety of Colors, Casts Well, Effective on Multiple Species, Great Price
Cons: None Specified

This is a good lure. What is especially good about this product is that it comes with an extra single hook that can be used for special regulations areas that mandate only a single barbless hook - especially in Washington state.
