 Berlley Trilene XT
Pros: some stretch [foregiveness], affordable.
Best Uses: trolling
Comments: An excellent line for trolling, very affordable.
 Old Stand By
Pros: Strong, Good For Variety Of Fish
Cons: might be a little stiff for some set ups
Best Uses: Fresh Water
Comments: Like this line for it's strength and versitillity. Around weeds and pads it's a no brainer. Pulling in the tough catch is easier. I always rely on this line for almost all my bass fishing.
Professional Angler
Better than you might think
Pros: Strong, Good For Variety Of Fish, Easy To Handle, Easy To Store
Comments: I use Berkley extra tough on all my rigs other than my ulta -ligh,with this I use Trilene Extra Smooth in 4-lb test. Berkley XT in low vis-green is my choice,I use generally 8-14 lb test for bass and 17 -up for catfish or stripers. It is like this"you can gat a knife only so sharp" this mentality applies to XT. It is the only line I have this much confidence in,I have never gotten a bad spoll. It is consistantly excellent line. Some say Berkley MAX is better, but I disagree,it is a bit too stiff. XT is the best line for the money on the market and I have tried them all.
 Strong line-Low Visibilty.
Pros: Irresistible to Fish, Strong
Cons: Difficult to Handle
Best Uses: Deep Water, Shore Casting, Fresh Water, Trolling
Comments: Good Strength, low visibility.
