Description

The Berkley Line Counter allows you to fish at controlled depths without the use of bulky line counter reels. With this line counter you'll be able to set your bait at the right depth every time directly into the feeding zone.

The Berkley Line Counter attaches to most rods with a heavy duty screw clamp. These line counters give accurate readings down to 999 feet with minimal line slippage. This line counter features an easy to use, push button reset and has a manual or automatic line release with a tension adjustment.

The Berkley Line Counter works best with baitcasting and conventional rod and reel combos.

The Berkley Line Counter is made in the U.S.A.

Bought 4 counters none work
Comments: They are Cheap, that is the only good comment I have. We set upwards of 40 lines at many different lengths and we were in a tornament last weekend and I bought 4 new Berkley counters. ALL 4 failed completly, I have never seen such a market need for a good line counter. Do yourself a favor and do NOT purchase these Berkley Line Counters. I have not found a good solution yet.

 Bummer.
Comments: I guess I'll be the first to write a bad review regarding these line counters...I bought 4 of these intending to use them for measuring out line for backtrolling steelhead/salmon. I tried 30lb braided as well as 8,10 and 15lb mono and they do not work. The line locks in but the numbers only turn part of the time. SO when you pull out 3 feet of line it only indicates 1 foot has gone out. Very dissapointing. Although it does seem FishUSA.com customer service will come through and save they day. I will be sending them back next week for a refund and FishUSA picked up the shipping back. Bummer.

Comments: My partner and I use these on small lakes for Lake Trout. We don't have a big boat set up for trolling and don't normally do alot of trolling but when we need it these are great to have, easy to use. I just keep them in my tackle box so they are there if we need them.
