i will buy this product again and again (from prior model)
Pros: good for variety of fish, Looks Realistic
Cons: Hard to open package
Comments: just use it for ice fishing and i caught more crappie than ever before. works better than live bait
 Very effective
Pros: effective
Cons: package size
Comments: Much softer than the 3" version....using chartreuse shad in SALTWATER. Being softer it both goes on (and comes off) the hook easier and I believe provides a better hookset due to its easier penetration. For some reason Berkley does not offer this color in a Gulp Alive version. I wish they did and have told them so. I'll bet it would tear up the crappie, yellow and white perch.

1" Berkley Gulp minnows "Rock"! (from prior model)
Pros: Irresistible to Fish, Strong, Easy To Store, Easy To Handle, Looks Realistic, Good For Variety Of Fish
Best Uses: Shore Casting, Ice Fishing, Fresh Water, Jigging
Comments: At last a Gulp panfish minnow to "match the Hatch" when slab crappie move shallow in Spring. I have used the 2.5" gulp minnow for several years with great success. Now with smaller minnows, I can scale down my presentation when Slab Crappie prefer a smaller presentation. I match up 1/64th oz tough guy jigheads to produce an extremely realistic minnow fry that drives Crappie and panfish nuts! Thankyou Berkley for such an awesome new panfish bait!

 Very Productive Bait
Pros: Looks Realistic, Easy To Handle, Easy To Store
Cons: Tears easily
Best Uses: Fresh Water
Comments: I have been fishing Berkley Gulp 2.5" Minnows for over a year. I have found them to be very productive for trout. I am retired and river fish for trout approximately 80+ times throughout the twelve months of the year. I like to fish spinners (cover a lot of water quickly) and flies (traditionalist in me) on ultralight tackle. When they are not very productive, I can usually rely on a 2.5" Berkley Gulp Minnow (Smelt) to get the trout to bite. If the water is murky after a rain, Chartreuse Shad works well for me. One drawback is that the bait tears easily.

 Great for finessing trout
Pros: Easy To Handle, Irresistible to Fish
Cons: Limited Use
Best Uses: Shore Casting
Comments: First time I used these minnows I caught 14 trout (Watermelon Pearl) in a heavily pressured urban lake. I set it up as a carolina rig with about 3' of 2 lb fluorocarbon leader and used a #10 red hook through the nose and out the top. I allowed the bait to settle to the bottom (15') while I slowed cranked a spinning reel. The only problem was I could maybe use the bait once or twice since it would tear easily and become unusable. I found I would get bites quicker using shad Nitro Gravy. This comibination is a killer bait for slow biting trout!

 Great bait for everything
Pros: Easy To Store, Irresistible to Fish, Easy To Handle, Good For Variety Of Fish, Fish Don't Escape, Looks Realistic
Cons: Limited Use
Best Uses: Jigging
Comments: Little hard for hook sets, may need to let fish take before you try and set the hook. But what I have found really is that fish will just crush this bait..
