Gulp! Alive! Minnows are the perfect for tipping jigs for bluegill, crappie, and perch as well as trout. These baits are also great for adding scent and attraction to lures and jigs when ice fishing. Berkley Gulp! Alive! is the next generation in Gulp! technology. Now your favorite baits come floating in the "Magic Gravy." This enables you to recharge your baits by putting them back in the jar. The new Gulp! Alive baits absorb 20% more Gulp! scent and attractant which makes them at least 20% more effective than the 1st generation baits. They also have a 34% better swimming action than original Gulp! More attractant, better action, better results than ever before!

Berkley Gulp! Alive! Minnows are made in the U.S.A.

I'm a believer! (from prior model)
Pros: Tough enough for multiple catches., No need for live minnows.
Cons: Plastic jar can leak the juice.
Best Uses: Good bait for most fish
Comments: Got to try this swim bait out on vacation and was very impressed as the weather was hot and the bite was off. Bouncing these minnow along bottom on a nuckle head jig was the only thing that constantly got hits. Managed to put some large and small mouth in the boat.

 This Bait Is Incredible
Comments: I have been using the 1" minnow for about 3 years now. The crappie & big gills just eat this thing up. Have been using natural colors and decided to try the chartreuse shad this year. Wow. They seem to like it better than the others, particularly in stained water. It gets chewed up pretty good but I can usually get a dozen fish off one bait.
 Works as advertised
Pros: Good live bait alternative
Cons: A bit small
Comments: Almost as good as the real thing. Just a bit small.. consider the bigger sized ones intead of these small ones.

 Amazing bait.
Pros: Good For Variety Of Fish, Durable
Comments: Been using these for 3 years and still amazed at how well they work. I have caught hundreds of crappie, and several large bass, perch and bluegills. Just yesterday I caught over 80 crappies and 2 bass in 2 1/2 hours. I use every color and have found that when the bites start to slow down I just change colors and the action picks back up. I've saved a lot of money because I no longer purchase minnows.

 Best Crappie Bait Ever
Pros: they catch fish
Comments: Got this a couple day ago, used it on my local lake. I tell you one thing it catches crappie like no one's business. Just need a good float and a small 1/32 or 1/16 jig head.
 Works Great
Comments: Works great on trout without the hassle of keeping real minnows alive. Just have to be careful and keep the jar upright or it will leak.

 Closest thing to bait
Pros: Good live bait alternative, No worries of maintenence, Durable, Easy to use
Comments: Used for ice fishing. When the jig & wax-worm bite slowed down I would switch to a jig & gulp minnow to get the bite started again. Sometimes would catch larger crappie on gulp. Very durable without the concerns of having to take care of live bait. I still prefer live bait but gulp is a must have when I go ice fishing. More luck with minnow type colors. Also have caught bass & channel cat on the gulp minnow.

 Great baits
Pros: they catch fish
Best Uses: perch, and any thing esle that bites, Ultra light fishing for crappy, blue gills
Comments: Works better than live minnows! I've caught more fish with these baits than I can count. Blue gills, white perch, crappy, bass, catfish and more. With a 1/64 or a 1/80 micro jig head they can't be beat.
 Fabulous Bait
Pros: durable, The juice is probably the secret
Cons: jars leak after opened
Best Uses: trout and panfish
Comments: These baits are fabulous. They work for trout and panfish but you need to use a small jig hook and I fish them with a small strike indicator (bobbers are not pc anymore). The chartreuse color seems to be the best for me, but the emerald shiner color is good also.

Berkley Gulp! Alive! Minnow - 1"
Pros: I believe Taste has a lot to do with that.
Cons: Good for 8 to 10 crappies or 2 bluegill.
Best Uses: Suspend presentations in open water.
Comments: This is a go-to bait for all gamefish when used with a "suspend" presentation, in open water.

Cons: Messy
Best Uses: Fresh Water, Shore Casting, Jigging, Ice Fishing

Common Blennies go wild for these!
Pros: Easy To Handle, Strong, Looks Realistic, Easy To Store, Irresistible to Fish
Best Uses: Jigging
Comments: I use this for mini species in the U.K. and was catching fish (Common Blennies) from the first cast. I'm sure when the water temp rises in the summer even more species will be caught on these.

 Killer panfish bait
Pros: Good For Variety Of Fish, Easy To Store, Looks Realistic, Irresistible to Fish
Best Uses: Shore Casting, Fresh Water, Jigging
Comments: Another great Gulp product from Berkley. I have used these minnows in ponds and lakes and bluegill love them. Rigged with a float and micro jig it simply is better than live bait. Works just as good as live bait plus, unlike live bait, you get multiple fish per bait up. Also have caught stream trout and steelhead on the minnows. White is my favorite color.

 Black Crappie Bait
Pros: Looks Realistic, Irresistible to Fish, Good For Variety Of Fish, Strong, Easy To Store, Easy To Handle
Best Uses: Jigging, Ice Fishing
Comments: This is one of the best Black Crappie baits I've ever used. I've only used it ice fishing (jigging). But I will definely be trying it this spring. Put it on a 1/32 or 1/16 oz jig head. I usually start off light and work up. Most of the time they hit it on the fall. To recharge leave it on the jig head and put it back in the bottle. I usually have 3 or 4 soaking in the bottle to switch with. One draw back is the smell on your hands and sometimes the bottle leaks.

Pros: Looks Realistic, Irresistible to Fish, Good For Variety Of Fish, Easy To Handle
Cons: Limited Use
Best Uses: Jigging, Fresh Water, Deep Water, Shore Casting, Ice Fishing
Comments: I used the gulp minnow jigging in 30' of water for suspended bluegills. they couldn't resist!!!!! The only downside is you only get 1-2 uses per minnow. Other than that they are great! Would highly recommend to a friend!!!

 Best Yet
Pros: Looks Realistic, Easy To Handle, Strong, Irresistible to Fish, Easy To Store, Good For Variety Of Fish
Best Uses: Deep Water, Fresh Water, Jigging, Trolling
Comments: I enjoy fishing for bass, bluegill, catfish, pike, walleye, and crappie during travels from Kentucky to Texas and into Canada. I favor live baits. The trouble with them is getting good ones when you need them and keeping them alive. These baits solve all that, store them in a compact, easily transported container and they are cheaper than live bait while producing nearly as effectively. Anything I lose by substituting the artificial bait for the live is more than made up for by using the convenience of Gulp. I am definitely continuing to use this product and dropping the live baits.

 Crappie Catchers!
Pros: Looks Realistic, Easy To Handle, Strong, Good For Variety Of Fish, Easy To Store
Best Uses: Jigging, Ice Fishing, Fresh Water
Comments: A friend bought these in smelt color and did well with them catching perch through the ice. Come ice out he was catching crappie with them on an ice fishing jig under a stick bobber. I tried them hand had similar success. I fished them the same way for crappie and sometimes added a spike for a bit of extra attraction. We had great crappie fishing with them and also caught plenty of perch and big blue gills. What I like most about them is that fish eat them and they stay on the hook much longer than any live bait. The down side is that they harden on the hook when they dry. Take them off as soon as your done fishing or you will have trouble removing them later.I like this color so much I'm trying it in the 3 inch for larger game fish.

 Tough to beat.
Pros: Strong, Easy To Handle, Looks Realistic, Irresistible to Fish, Easy To Store, Good For Variety Of Fish
Best Uses: Fresh Water, Jigging, Ice Fishing, Deep Water
Comments: I used the 1" Gulp minnow on a #12 gold aberdeen hook as a drop shot rig. I used the Gulp minnow as the main hook and a Marmooska with just the tail of a 1" Gulp fry. The Gulp minnow produced both Bluegills and Crappie. You won't believe how real these look. Smelt color looks just like a Perch/Speck minnow. I kept 18 fish that day and well over 1/2 came on the minnow.

Cons: Leaky container, Limited Use, Messy
Best Uses: Deep Water, Ice fish drop shotting, Ice Fishing, Fresh Water
Comments: works Well on a dropshot rig for finicky winter panfish. i have noticed that even though product is suspended in juice, some of the baits have kinks and don't hang straight much like bagged soft baits.

 Fantastic bait
Pros: Easy To Handle, Easy To Store, Irresistible to Fish, Looks Realistic, Fish Don't Escape, Good For Variety Of Fish
Best Uses: Shore Casting, Jigging, Fresh Water
Comments: I recently used these for crappie fishing. I could not believe how the fish tore up these things. Not only did I catch crappie, but tons of bluegill, perch and bass, too. I now have every color and dumped all jars into a waterproof, tupperware-type of container. No need to buy minnows anymore!!
