 >  > Berkley Gulp! Alive! 4" Sandworm

Gulp! Alive! Berkley Gulp! Alive is the next generation in Gulp! technology. Now your favorite baits come floating in the "Magic Gravy" in 16 oz. or 32 oz. buckets, enabling you to recharge your baits by putting them back in the bucket. The new Gulp! Alive baits absorb 20% more Gulp! scent and attractant which makes them at least 20% more effective than the 1st generation baits. They also have a 34% better swimming action than original Gulp! More attractant, better action, better results than ever before!

The Berkley Gulp! Alive! 4" Sandworm is available in 16 oz. (11 oz. net wt.) and 32 oz. (27 oz. net wt.) resealable containers.

Please note we can no longer ship Gulp! Alive or Gulp! baits to Australia or New Zealand because of customs import restrictions. AU and NZ customs demand a list of ingredients for the baits, which is proprietary information that Berkley will not disclose. Due to this fact, we must cancel any order for these baits to the above countries. Thanks for your understanding.

Great corbina and surf perch bait
San Diego, Ca
About Me:
Avid Fisher
I can highly recommend this as a surf perch and corbina bait in Southern California. Fish the flat wash from just outside the inshore break right up to the beach. Corbina especially are often found in water so shallow their backs stick out. Use on a Carolina rig and reel slow and steady. Jerking is more likely to spook these fish than attract them. You want a sandworm to look as though it had accidentally ended up in the surf and is washing around helpless. Give them time to get it all the way. The attractant and soft texture will keep them from rejecting it. I prefer nose hooking to deeper hooking. Once they have swallowed the worm down to the hook it is almost impossible to spit out quickly and you are more likely to lip hook them if you want to return them to the water. On flat days or when they are being finnicky shorten the worm and fish with the lower end and lighter hooks.
Pros: Looks Realistic, Easy To Handle, Easy To Store, Good For Variety Of Fish
Cons: none
Best Uses: Salt Water
