Baratarian
New Orleans
 Does the job
Pros: salt water speckle trout, beginners can use, works well under a cork
Cons: durability
Best Uses: Salt water speckled trout
Comments: I buy the glow version for murky water conditions. I use it under a cork for fishing speckle trout. i have caught redfish using this lure, but they tend to be too big to keep. Smaller reds are not attracted to the lure where I fish. I use the swimming mullet most of the time, (tight lining or under a cork), using this lure as a back up. I've used this lure for over 5 years now and it does the job. I fish the Barataria basin in Louisiana where the water is shallow and conditions can turn the water murky, hence the reason for buying the glow version. Since this is a soft bait, speckle trout tear it easily and I am lucky if it holds up after more than 5 fish.

Sea trout LOVE the chartreuse tails....
Pros: Irresistible to Fish
Cons: Messy
Best Uses: Salt Water, Shore Casting, Jigging
Comments: Fish for sea trout, reds and snook... have a hard time keeping the snapper, ladyfish and jacks off them!!! The chartreuse tail is a major attractant; fish them side by side with a regular GULP shrimp and the green tail gets 2:1 strikes.

 berkley gulp alive 3 shrimp
Pros: Easy To Store, Easy To Handle
Best Uses: Jigging
Comments: I used these on a 1/4 ounce jig with a pink fishbytes trailer in Venice La in 2-3 foot water and they proved irresistable to 46 flounder caught between 5 fisherman. Helped to turn a so so fishing trip into an excellent one! A few nice reds and specks caught as well.

The only bait on my boat.
Pros: Reusable, Easy To Handle, Easy To Store, Irresistible to Fish, Looks Realistic
Best Uses: Deep Water, Jigging, Salt Water
Comments: I've been fluke fishing for over thirty years and this bait out catches all live baits( Just ask my buddies). They're all Gulp Alive believers now. I save time and money by purchasing online. No more $40./day for fresh and live baits. The recharging feature works like it was the first bait out of a new bucket.

Berkley Gulp Alive 3" New penny shrimp
Pros: Looks Realistic, Easy To Handle, Easy To Store
Best Uses: Salt Water
Comments: Best bait for summer flounder. Only negative is it tends to be unusable after 2 or 3 fish, as it comes apart.

great time a day what a bait
Pros: Good For Variety Of Fish, Easy To Store, Easy To Handle, Fish Don't Escape, Looks Realistic, Irresistible to Fish
Cons: something has changed, Limited Use
Best Uses: Salt Water, Jigging
Comments: the new penny gulp bait is great. i use it to catch spotted trout. but when i first bought the the bait it seem to be a tougher material.you could catch ten fish on one new penny gulp bait. but now something has changed about the bait it seems to be a softer bait. you can only catch two on one bait. its not the same. it was worth the money but its not worth the money. but the fish love the bait. what i what to know has the bait changed. but i will still use the bait. but i wish the bait would last longer.

It Works!
Pros: Easy To Store, Better than adveritised, Looks Realistic, Easy To Handle, Good For Variety Of Fish
Best Uses: Salt Water
Comments: We used both the "new penny" and "molting" colors to catch white trout and red fish. This was our back up baits in case we did run out of live shrimp. I will be using this as the main bait from now on.
