 Fish Catchers
Pros: Irresistible to Fish
Cons: Durability
Best Uses: streams and rivers
Comments: I have used these all spring and summer and have caught HUNDREDS of fish on them. I love to fish for rock bass (redeyes) and smallmouth bass in rivers and these baits are perfect for them. I've caught tiny redeyes up to big ole pig smallies on the same bait, their size is perfect. Take several bags when you go because you do go through a lot of these, they are not the most durable bait but that's probably part of the attractiveness of them. Good luck.

These things work
Pros: larger smallmouths
Best Uses: streams and rivers
Comments: I have been fishing with hellgrammites for about 25+ years now. I discovered this bait last year, 2013 fishing season at a large box store. Last year and this year I have not caught the quantity of fish as a live hellgrammite. But the quality of fish I have caught, is the difference as night and day. Today I put one on and dropped it in the water, so I could put the package back in my vest. When I lifted it out of the water a small smallmouth was already nosing around it. The smallmouths that I have caught with it have been typically 14"+. You may only catch 1 or 2 when you go out, but the memories are more spectacular. It is best used around the pools around current with a split shot or 2, and retrieved slowly. If you don't feel the bottom on the retrieve, your not deep enough. I typically put my split shots right above my leader so it floats about 6-10" off the bottom.

 They really work
Pros: More time fishing less time baiting!
Comments: ArtificialBait!!! I have fished over 70 years and have seen every artifical to come out!I gave up trying them years ago. Even if the fish would hit them they would not hold on. In recent times had some suscess with night crawler type but mainley with largemouth bass.Last spring [2012] a fishing friend told me about the Gulp 2 1/2 in. minnow. I prefer live crickets or grasshoppers for trout ,I fish mostly head waters that hold native brook and browns, but they are too hard to come by. I could not believe how well they worked!! I release every thing and fish at least 4 times a week At my age I am past the age of early morning fishing!!Usually go from 1:00 to dark 8:30 to 9:00.I allways make a day of it. Last Aug. I caught the nicest fish ever, not the biggest but the verry nicest a16 in. native brook. him I did not release, he was pink as samon and delicious.I had to try the hellgramite 3 in.worked fantastic on smallmouth and rock bass! WHY mess with live bait these work just as good and you spend more time fishing and less time baiting up!!

 Awesome bass bait!
Pros: The bass just love this, Irresistible to Fish, Easy To Store, Looks Realistic
Cons: Hard to find in stores
Best Uses: Jigging, Around rocks and ledges, Fresh Water
Comments: Fished on a 1/8 or 1/4 ounce jig head and gently finessed/jigged across rocky bottoms, boulders, rip rap and fallen trees on a fluorocarbon line. This bait is a sure thing for 5 "keepers" in the live well before you cull. Keep one rigged on a light spinning outfit and use it well!
