 Always reliable
Pros: long-lasting as compared with live bait
Best Uses: walleye in Canada
Comments: We greatly prefer the 3 inch minnow grub (in black) over live minnows now due to its reliability and ability to last when live minnows would die. WE bring a bunch of pouches with us to Canada and use them throughout the week.

Absolutely out-fished real bait
Pros: Fantastic in every way
Cons: None whatsoever
Best Uses: Salt Water
Comments: After a few stories I heard & read, I figured I'll give it a try for FLUKE fishing. Fished the south shore of Long Island, NY in ocean just east of the Jones Inlet. We drifted in water from 40-25 ft. This was June 20th, 2008. My buddy used natural baits. Squid strips, spearing, Peruvian spearing (very large) and teasers, buck-tails, fluke mines etc. ALL I USED WAS EITHER A PINK OR PEARL WHITE 3" swimming minnow attached to a white buck-tail or Spro jig. I NEVER USED BAIT. I do not exaggerate in saying that I caught 4-5 fluke to every one of his. We caught easily 50-100 fluke that day (my friend says more). I was fishing and getting hits every time I dropped it to the bottom. I lost maybe 20-30 missing a hook set. ABSOLUTELY ASTOUNDING RESULTS. I also noted he was getting hit by skates, dog-fish, and sea robins. I had a few sea-robins but no other pest fish. Why? I have no idea. Gotta try some other stuff by GULP. By the way, we call it fishing with gummie bears, LOL.

 walleye love them
Pros: Easy To Store, Irresistible to Fish, Easy To Handle
Best Uses: Jigging
Comments: I use alot when I go to Canada. Orange seems to be best color. Also try flourescent colors. Keep in package as they dry out and loss attractant. 3 inch seems to be best size for walleye. Add a little Berkely fish attractant to package to keep moist or buy in bucket with juice.

 These things are great.
Pros: Looks Realistic, Easy To Store, Irresistible to Fish
Best Uses: Fresh Water, Deep Water, Jigging
Comments: I use these for northern pike, walleye and bass. They never miss. The 4" minnow grubs are the perfect size. It's too bad they stopped making them in that size. Even though all sizes seem to work, the 4" have been the best for me. They are definitely as good as live bait.
