ACME K.O. Wobbler Spoons

Acme K.O. Wobbler Spoons

Description

Acme K.O. Wobbler Spoons excite fish by sight and sound! Gamefish are sensitive to the vibrations created by baitfish on the move. K.O. Wobblers mimic this sound with their precision engineered "Sonic Flipper Tail". Once they are drawn by the sound, gamefish are excited into striking by the K.O.'s flashing tail and seductive side-to-side wobble. It's an offer they can't refuse.

Acme K.O. Wobbler Spoons are made in the U.S.A.

Versatile fishing lure
Pros: Versatile
Comments: Though a tad expensive for a spoon, these lures are excellent for all species of fish. I've caught kings, steelhead, brown trout, and walleye using various colors of these spoons. Easy to cast long distances, especially useful for piers.
 Great Spoon for Lake Erie
Pros: trout love them, Trolls and throws well
Comments: I've been using these lures for over 30 years and still can't get enough of them??

 This Lure Produces.
Pros: Irresistible to Fish, Quality material, Made in USA
Comments: I like using the 1/8 ounce model for trout. They are very well made like all Acme lures. They have a lot of action, even with a slow retrieval rate. I think the red and white looks great! Made in the USA!

 funny thing
Pros: wide variety of species
Comments: I do love KO's as you can tell by my main review done 2-23. Today I was messing around with some antique reels, just plunking around. Not a baitfish to be seen, not a hit, no biggie, there are days like this. Windy too. Actually went back home, then decided a few more hours at the lake was a better choice. Again, nothing. I was using an old Mitchell Garcia 308 off the bank when I decided to use the glow green KO just for grins. Just ordered the green ones this past Winter. Second cast of all things, a large bluegill hit it hard. All three trebles in the mouth! A few casts later and a nice largemouth. Enough for dinner for two. The wide variety of fish these spoons attract is simply amazing.

tackle box is not right without KOs.
Pros: Easy to handle, good variety of fish, vibration shows the lure is working
Comments: Used KO Wobblers for decades, began use with trolling for White River Trout. Was one of the few lures which would attract bass at times when trolling. Have cast them with luck as well and the only spoon I use for bass. Have caught Walleye on them too. At times best lure in box for Rainbows. They do tend to drop faster than the Little Cleo/Johnson Silver Minnow/Daredevils I find the "wobble" action very noticeable, which is cool when having two or three lines out on a smaller boat. In other words, you know the lure is not fouled avoiding unnecessary reeling in. Always used Florescent Orange, Silver Blue.

 Acme K.O. Wobbler Spoons
Pros: it works great & is inexpensive
Cons: I haven't found any yet
Best Uses: Crappie, Northern Pike, Large & small mouth bass
Comments: A truly amazing lure! I have caught everything from crappie, large smallmouth bass to 42rdquo; northern pike from Kansas to Canada. Every Canadian fishing guide I have had the pleasure to fish with has been absolutely amazed at how well this lure works on northern pike. My friends and I have had the best luck with the electric blue/chrome combination they canrsquo;t resist it. If you buy this lure be sure to buy several when the action starts you will be disappointed if you lose your last one. In fact I normally buy lots of extrarsquo;s due to everyone on our Canadian fishing trips will do anything to get their hands on one, so Irsquo;ll sell them a few at a dollar or two profit.

 A great crappie bait
Pros: Good For Variety Of Fish
Best Uses: Jigging, Trolling
Comments: These are great bait-imitation lures. I use them a lot for crappie and other panfish. They will also catch bass and saugeye. The extreme wobble seems to make them irresistible. The key is to find the right retrieve speed. You can cast them and troll them.

K O Wobbler
Pros: Irresistible to Fish
Best Uses: Shore Casting
Comments: In 40 years of fishing for Kamloops rainbow trout, the K O Wobbler has been the most productive 1/4 oz. spinning lure we have used. I like the traditional color, but all colors have been successful. The shape and the sonic flipper tail are hard to beat.

 Quality and finish
Pros: Strong, Easy To Handle
Cons: Limited Use
Best Uses: Fresh Water, Trolling
Comments: I use these spoons for salmon and steelhead on coastal rivers in Oregon. Usually the 1/2 oz. size. To reduce snagging on the bottom I remove the treble hooks and use a single siwash hook. I use them in two ways. Trolling and casting from the bank. When casting I use the down stream current to make the spoon work just off the bottom. The other method is cast slightly upstream and bounce the spoon along the bottom especially, for Steelhead.

 Very good for many species
Pros: Irresistible to Fish, Good For Variety Of Fish
Cons: Hard to find all colors, Hard to find all sizes
Best Uses: Shore Casting, Trolling, Jigging
Comments: These are great for salmon, lake trout and walleye when fishing channels and rivers (pier fishing on great lakes). Smaller sizes also work surprisingly well for perch at times. On inland lakes it is great for pike and bass, inland streams some colors work great for trout. Only wish more sizes and colors were readily available.

Outsider
Lake Stevens, WA
K.O. little known in WA for salmon
Pros: Fish Don't Escape
Best Uses: Shore Casting
Comments: Bang this lure on the bottom as much as possible during the drift. If you're not taking the risk of getting snagged, you're not fishing it properly. Let it drop all the way down until it ticks. WA anglers are unaware of this little gem. My very first time on the Stillagaumish R. (The Stilly), I hooked into a large and powerful chum salmon; caught on the 1/2 ounce nickle chartruse stripe. The fish came right on the current seam in stong flow.
