 Great Rod and Customer Service
Pros: great all round rod
Cons: non
Comments: Have 2 of the 13 Fishing Omen rods(1 casting,1 spinning). I think for the money they are the best out there. Great feel and you can really feel the strikes no matter how subtle. Also, the company has great customer service. Had a mishap with my casting rod this spring. Set the hook a little to hard on what I thought was a good northern, except it was the bottom. SNAP. Sent the rod back, and was sent a new rod right out. Put them to the top of the list in my book.

Very Versatile

Cons: guides need tweeking, not a split grip
Best Uses: topwater, drop shot
Comments: This is a nice rod to use. So on this first day I have to say that it was packed very nice from the factory and delivered very quickly, and the tip though thin is very tough. My son found it as I was throwing away the cardboard and introduced it to my ceiling fan. It didn't break didn't fracture at all and I further stress tested it to see. Impressed with the durability so far. A lot other rods would have snapped. So on the water it fished pretty darn good today while I was drop-shoting. I used a 1/4 oz weight and a 3" grub and could feel everything from the bottom of the lake up to the butt of the rod. I hooked a few LMB and could feel the tiniest bites. Great action for a short hook set and it was game on. Another two days on the water with this rod in the books. I bought a handful on small cranks and top-waters to hit up the shallows. Put the light tip to the test with the lighter lures and it did the job beautiful! Casted like a dream and the lures glided through the water smoothly. The hook-set with mono was crisp and clean and I nailed several on the poppers. I love this rod and as a bonus I threw some plugs to pinks in the river and was a little bit stiff but did alright. I pulled the hooks a couple times on these soft mouth fish but loved how the action felt while the plug was running. I would buy this rod over some of the Loomis rod's I own for sure. Try one you will be 'HOOKED' like a fish!
