The Yellow Bird is the Original side surface planer. The Yellow Bird is molded of EPS foam and has an internal ballast system. The internal ballast system lets the Yellow Bird handle most types of lures and rigs, in most water conditions. Yellow Birds can be used to troll a variety of crank baits, spoons, spinner rigs as well as dodger/fly combinations.
The Yellow Bird planer board is great for Stripers, Walleye, Pike, Salmon, Steelhead, and Salt Water game fish.
Features of these planer boards include the following:
- The large surface area adds buoyancy and allows the Yellow Bird to carry lures and live bait out to the sides, up to 150 feet or more from the side of the boat.
- The Yellow Bird comes packaged with a planer board release.
These planer boards are made in the USA.
These boards measure 7 1/2" long and 3" high.
