Wapsi - Super Bright, All Purpose Dubbing
In the early days of fly tying, dubbings were a simple answer to building fly bodies. By applying fur to the thread, much like
spinning wool, a variety of patterns could be tied.
Wapsi's original dubbings were available only in natural colors and either on the skin or in loose form. As Wapsi added sparkling
synthetics in a variety of textures, the combinations became endless. Through years of collecting information from friends and customers across the fly fishing world, Wapsi has assembled the best and most famous of colors available today. Presently all these dubbings are dyed and processed in their facility in Mountain Home, Arkansas. Wapsi's equipment is unique to the industry, and state of the art. All this allows Wapsi to produce the most extensive and comprehensive line of dubbings of the highest quality.
Below are the six colors of super bright dubbing we carry.
