Temple Fork Outfitters Tactical Series Pitch & Crank Bait Rods utilize a new proprietary scrim, in conjunction with TFO’s high modulus carbon fiber blank material, to save weight and increase sensitivity without sacrificing strength. These blanks are tastefully finished; simply polished, with a thin layer of matte clear coat to enhance the natural luster of the fibers, TFO’s trademark Color ID Split grip is further complimented by a two piece reel seat and a natural cork ring split grip.

Tactical Series Pitch & Crank Bait Rods are topped with TFO’s proprietary Tactical Series guides, machined stainless steel inserts are super hard chrome anodized then swaged into chromium impregnated stainless frame. These guides are super hard, super slick, and saltwater safe, which means no more lost fishing time due to lost inserts...and they’re 30% lighter than standard SiC guides.

The Crank Bait models (GTS CB704-1 and GTS CB794-1) are designed to throw medium-sized crankbaits and are great rods for deep-diving lures. The extra length on the 7' 9" model really helps with longer casts and fish-fighting control.

The Pitch model (GTS P797-1) has extra length making it easier to handle more line and make quieter presentations. These rods feature a flexible tip with lots of backbone.
