Comments about Okuma Fishing Tackle Corp. Okuma Celilo Kokanee Pro Trolling Rods:

I paired this rod up with a vintage Shimano Bantam Mag loaded with 6lb. fluorocarbon. I fish small lakes and reservoirs for trout from my small aluminum boat. Trolling small spoons and drifting live herring provide my omega-3.The rod is perfect for this type of fishing and if I ever catch the BIG ONE, I think it can handle it.

Comments about Okuma Fishing Tackle Corp. Okuma Celilo Kokanee Pro Trolling Rods:

The rod is used everyday for trout fishing with my downriggers. Caught a nice 11 pounder last Friday morning and the rod made a difference in getting the fish in the net or losing it. Held out well even with a lot of bend in it. Glad I bought it.

This is one of the finest rods you can own (even without consideration of the price).I now own 14 of these rods(all purchased fron Fish USA)that I have put to the test fishing for Salmon,Steelhead,Trout and Kokanee in both rivers and lakes.I reside on the Salmon River in Idaho and fish 2-5 day a week all year long and have been very satisifed with these rods and hope you are also.

Comments about Okuma Fishing Tackle Corp. Okuma Celilo Kokanee Pro Trolling Rods:

I have been looking for something to go one level in the weight class from my HMG Fenwick to cast 3-4 oz weights past the breakwater here on Long Island. 20# is the min with a solid casting reel (TICA Striper LE200). Great for long reach out and putting the bait at the fish.
