This rod was bought for pond fishing and wading. When catching small bass on this rod it's just as fun as catching a monster! This rod is so sensitive and it's a blast for small fish!

I use this rod for all species of trout in the smaller spring creeks of Western NC, near Asheville. I like these rods so much, that this is my second one (I also have a 5 footer that I purchased from FishUSA).

It is so sensitive that even with the tiny spinners I use, I can feel the spinner blade vibrations through the handle, when retrieving the lure from a distance.

I also have a St. Croix Avid fly rod that I purchased from FishUSA as well. I won't hesitate to purchase more equipment from them - they are very responsive and attentive.
