Paired it with an Okuma Trio reel and it is my go to for bass fishing now. I can feel all the action underwater and no problem pulling fish out of weeds.

Really nice rod for the money. Got the the 6'6" ML 2-piece for small bass, panfish, crappie, etc. Paired it with a Shimano Symetre FJ 2500. Now I have to wait for mother nature to get rid of the ice and I'll be ready for this spring. Look out crappie!
