i dont know if thay are made cheep but i have one and now that i have used it i dont like it it feels cheep it looks cheeps the eyes are lo grade for the money you can find some thing else to sute you I fish 2-5 days a week

Love my new Voltaeus Rod

I use the 7 foot Medium Heavy with fast tip on the Kenai River for Red, and Silver salmon. I love this rod. It is the best I have used with a Bait Cast reel for salmon fishing. I imagine I can probably use it for King Salmon as well but the season was over when I got my new rod.

As always, [...]. I stopped in, described in general terms what I wanted and was recommended the Voltaeus. After two months of using it, I am very pleased with my purchase. Not sure I would have picked it out on my own but am very glad I did.
