Use this rod all the time for finesse presentations in clear water for bass. I use to not fish with spinning gear much, but the finesse tactics, that are so effective on heavily pressured bass, are best presented with a spinning rod. I can't put it down.

Although I am not crazy about the grip design (aesthetics), it is comfortable and easy to overlook when you are feeling bites and catching fish.

I have Fenwick rods, Shimano rods(Cumara) and the Powell 6'8" Medium action, extra fast tip split handle is the most sensitive rod I have held in my hand, you could feel a bass burp.

I have only used my model 681LEF for one application so far and that application is drop shotting for smallmouth and the rod works great for that.I would reccommend this rod to everyone looking for a drop shot rod.
