Where I live in Michigan's Upper Penninsula we can get deep snow on the ice. I like to bank snow around my tipups to keep my hole clear and these flags stick right up where you can see them.

Comments about HT Enterprises HT Enterprises Telescopic Tip-Up Flag ExtensionsOff:

I have used the flexible extensions for over 15 years. When fully extended you can see the flag from 100 yards away (if needed). When the fish first strikes the flag will swing back and forth and it is usually enough to catch you eye that a fish is on the attack. Also like the idea that at the end of the season the flag comes off for easy storage.

i have the nortic ice polar tip ups(same as the ht polars)and these flags work great. there is no mistakeing if the flag is up. if its up you know it. the only bad thing is if you tention is not set right on your tip up your flag pops easy. this is good if your fishing for pan fish. great product.

i have the nortic ice polar tip ups (same as ht version) thease flags work great. no more gessing if the flag is up. if its up you know it. the only bad thing i found was they are sensitive the flag likes to pop up if the tention is too loose on your tip up, but this is good if fishing for perch.

this is a great replacement product. i found that i just had to add a small amount of super glue to sping side to accomodate slight fit difference.
