this ice fishing rod was discribed as "panfish" sensitive but is stiff enough for lake trout and walleye. I love Ugly Stiks but this one needs a little work

Just tried my new ultra light Ugly Stick ice rod on my pond for bluegills. It is great! I have been looking for a rod that has this much action and strength for years, I never knew Ugly Stik made an ultra light. This is a great rod for panfish, so much action, and because it's an Ugly Stik you know it will be strong too. Great product!

This rod is super flexible, I use it in my kayak in small fishing areas where a longer rod would be a problem. The actions is a little to light for me but I did buy the UL, think I will get a Med as well soon.

trolling in saltwater marsh with 10lb wire pin leavel wind reel. good action real senative, i like the 4eyes on it, liteness of the rod. their is nothing so far i don't like about it.

This rod has great sensitivity, but enough strength to reel in the big ones. Pulled in a few 4 lbers with ease.
