Crafted from Okuma#39;s latest IM-8 graphite, the Guide Select Series of Fly Rods are versatile, moderate-fast rods packed full of features. These rods are highlighted by Okuma#39;s Evo Graph reinforced graphite weave which strengthens the rod blank from the butt to tip while keeping the overall weight to a minimum. The blanks are matte black in color with a matching matte black carbon fiber reel seat inserts and black chrome hardware.

I have two of these rods now and think they are great. Haven't had a problem with them breaking on me.
I have a ten weight for pike and an eight weight
for big trout.
Both are stiff for extra power in casting and are light weight. It has been a reasonable buy for me for a great price compared to other more expensive rods out there.
IM8 graphite too!
