I fished over 100 days on the Miramichi this summer and landed 61 atlantic salmon in all conditions. The native run is the best rod I have owned in 58 years of fishing. The tube rod case is too narrow and is very hard to put my rod into. My last loomis 4pc had a rectangular case and worked fine.
