Comments about Lamiglas Lamiglas Certified Pro Float and Center Pin Rods:

Die-hard pinner here, have fished this rod from Alaska to Lake Ontario Tribs. Very impressed with the the sensitivity and love the hidden extra power of the 13LLS (6-10 rated). I own several more expensive float rods and prefer this rod to most of them! Lamiglas may want to consider changing the top guide to eliminate icing, but they should definitely lengthen the front cork. It should be 4" instead of the too small 2 1/2". This would prevent hand cramps/fatigue. Minor flaws on a fantastic rod! Highly recommended--excellent rod for the money.

Comments about Lamiglas Lamiglas Certified Pro Float and Center Pin Rods:

This rod was bought for center-pin steelhead fishing. I had my pin fall off while fishing, the rings would not hold the pin on securely. I tried tape, and tape on the reel feet, nothing could keep the pin from either falling off or being tightly secured. I just had the rod re-gripped, and while pulling off the cork, my builder found that 4" of the butt had be smashed or crushed!!! Poor construction if you ask me. The blank was damaged before construction and was still used as if it were a good blank. From now on, it's custom built rods for me, I'm finished with the factory stuff.
