Line counter reel's nice, as is rod...

But it's too much for trolling inland lakes less than 40' deep with bouncers.

Better suited for dipsies or rigger rod.

Have the older version from a few years ago and just bought the 8'6" and the 7'6" models with the 30DX and 20DX reels. Very well make and everything works as expected.

Waiting for Salmon season to start on the big lake so I have not used these rods yet but they look great and will be plenty sufficient for what I need. Everything looks great and works great but I will yet to use them to bring in a hog salmon. I feel confident they will get the job done though.
