The Saros brings new meaning to light tackle, but do not mistake its small size for timidness. Utilizing the new Paladin Gear Durability Enhancement and Propulsion Spool Lip, durability, reliability and performance are nothing to worry about. Add in Shielded A-RB� bearings, a sealed Maintenance Port, and thread-in machined Aluminum handle, along with many other features, and the Saros will be a performer for years to come.

[...] For this price i was expecting an amazing reel. Shimano really did a terrible job on this reel. It is not a smooth reel and just not worth the money. I would def. consider a different reel next time. I am stuck with this reel but looking forward to replacing it as soon as possible. I would not recommend this to anyone.

No comment on the durability/reliability...just got it. But it is by far the smoothest spinning reel I've ever used.

Good quality that I expect will last many years.
