This reel works great. Lightweight with plenty of capacity for river or lake fishing. Dependable drag system. I have taken many fine trout with reel and 2lb test line.

I have found this little reel to be perfect for ice fishing - jigging. I would have liked infinite anti-reverse...but for the money, you really can not go wrong!

Great little ice fishing reel. I currently own two and will certainly purchase more for next year. My only comment would be...infinite anti-reverse would be nice, but for the money...you really can not go wrong!

I wanted a nice light real for my ultralight ice fishing rod so I ordered this real. Great real for the money. I have been using Shimano reals for 30 years and still have some that are at least that old and work great. Very smoothe and work well in cold weather.

My Shimano AX FB 4000 Spinning Reel is a very durable little reel. I take it to the Pensacola, Fl fishing pier. My 7 yr old grandson Carson
and I have caught spanish mackeral, blue fish, black snapper, lady fish, and bar jacks. It is holding up very nicely! I have also caught several
largemouth bass at a local pond as well. Very durable and dependable for the price! Would highly recommend it for adults and kids alike.
