I was introduced to Shimano about 15 years ago by an older gentleman that swore by these reels. He even went so far as to have me close my eyes and test reels. Each time the least expensive Shimano felt smoother, better, more responsive than other more expensive reels.

This product does not disappoint. It has those same characteristics. I can't see myself buying anything else.

If you like Shimano's Quick Fire trigger, then this is the best reel out there with that feature. I'll be buying more of these.

very good reel for the money.Acts like the more expensive.no complaints so far with this reel.Will be buying another pretty soon.I use it for bass fishing.Is real smoothe and doesn't jam up.If anyone wants a good reel for the money buy a syncopate
