This reel has a smooth cast and very smooth retrieve. It's feels strong and reliable when I'm reeling in Lake Trout.

Shakespeare continues to find ways to keep the quality high and the cost low, that is why I look first to see if Shakespeare makes what I want before I look at any other brand. I have never had a problem with any of their products. I run 4-6 rods at a time on my down riggers and by keeping them all the same brand I can tell if one has picked up some weeds, a small fish so that I don't waste time dragging fouled lures through the water. We catch 5-8 pound German Browns and Rainbows with very light lines, reels & rods.

All i can say is wow. So far i have had this reel for about a month and it has been doing great. The extra bearings let you get as much power into your casts as you can without losing the bait. So far it has provided to be durable and reliable but then again i havent really had it in rough conditions. Another great thing is it hasnt had any problems with line tangling and the drag is very smooth. Oh yea did i say that it looks good too against my black and gold rod. Overall this is a must buy to add to your fishing collection.

i purchased this reel to to put on a shakespeare uglystick lite rod and it is a deadly combo. i love this reel. i have retired all of my more expensive reels and i am only using these reels from here on out.

Very good reel, have used it in lakes and haven't had any problems with it. This is my second Agility spinning reel. They are both very smooth operating and the casting is great. An excellent product for the price. I would recommend them to anyone.

I use only AGILITY reels on my boat.
I target Flounder, Red's, and Specks on my saltwater trips. I have gone through several other brands of reels and none compare to this for day in and day out dependability.
The 8 ballbearing system is ultra smooth.
