I just got your fishing rod and reel . After two fishing trips (bad weather lately) I have been very impressed of your product. I would like in the future a medium feature of the same set .
I have been fishing for over 50 years I do have a Van-Sthal , Peen among my 30 units.

Comments about Okuma Fishing Tackle Corp. Okuma Stinson A Series Spinning Reels:

Very smooth reel. Excellent drag. Great anti-reverse. Very tight reel....no loose parts. However, after a few weeks of intense fishing, the reel started to freeze up a bit so I took it apart and re-lubed it. Use parts diagram and instructions before attempting to put back together because the gears must be ligned up perfectly. Great value for the money.

Comments about Okuma Fishing Tackle Corp. Okuma Stinson A Series Spinning Reels:

I use the Okuma for bass fishing and it is the smoothest reel I own. It works great for throwing all the different lures associated with bass from topwater to drop shots. I have yet to experience anything from the lure that would hinder my ability to fish.

The Stinson reel is a good looking reel, small and light. It still has a smoothness issue. [$]
