Comments about Okuma Fishing Tackle Corp. Okuma Trio High Speed Spinning Reels:

This feels like a robust high quality reel at a good price. I'm not sure about the soft-touch knob on the reel handle, it's comfortable to use but I hope it stands up to years of use like I think the rest of the reel will.

Comments about Okuma Fishing Tackle Corp. Okuma Trio High Speed Spinning Reels:

Haven't had a new reel in years. Casting and reeling really nice on the Tri 55S. Think I might have overspooled the line on this. Using 12lb test with about 1/4" left on hub showing. Sometimes seems to miss a feed and leave a loop. Maybe it's something I'm doing. Love the feel though. I really like the ability to adjust the drag easily while a fish is on and change the play quickly. Very adaptive. Still learning to use so will give it more time. Casts nicely and grabs quickly when first closing the loop ring. Hand/fingers fit well over the stem. Very smooth and quiet return wind. Nice reel.

has aslick profile,a large bell and a smooth cast and retrieve.aluminum and graphite hybrid body gives it extra sensitivity to feel those light bites.i also like the choice to have a front drag line lay adjustment for the right line.
