I bought the 20 and it holds more than enough 30lb braided line for trolling. Great for lake Erie trolling.

I bought the smallest version of this series reel after reading the reviews here. I probably never would have bought this brand of reel before but am very happy I did. I was impressed right of the bat. Maybe I am strange but I love the clicker. Much less annoying and also drag is smoother than my other reels made by a more famous manufacturer in the same price range. There may be better reels out there, but you would have to pay a lot more money. If you take kids or less experienced fishermen, better to have one of these than a high priced one that decided to head for the bottom of the lake

Have not used it yet but the quality of the reel can be noticed instantly. Drag seems good and for the price, this trolling reel cannot be beat. Fish USA also had the best price!

I have 5 of these reels that are five years old and use them almost every weekend in summer and never had a problem .Iwould recomend them to any one for price they cant be beat.

Best reel I've owned. I use it for my side planer boards and let my step daughter use this one so she knows exactly when she should start seeing her fish at the back of the boat. I've boated lots of pounds easily with this new reel and will be buying 2 more shortly.

I had low expectations since this reel is very inexpensive. I was pleasantly surprised however, it is very smooth and the line counter works as well as my more expensive reels. The reel performs as well as others that are more than twice as expensive.

I'm a Registerd Maine Guide in central Maine.
I have clients in all ages, sizes, and abilities.
I.ve used this make and model reel for a couple of season when trolling for Landlocked Salmon. The reel preformes very well, stands up to abuse and is easy to operate for the novice as well as the seasoned fisherman (or fisherwoman).

I use the reel on a medium weight 7ft. rod,trolling with a two oz. bottom bouncer,with a night crawler &spinner rig.
It seems too do quite well for pulling in the Big Walleye from 30 plus feet of water.

Best reel on the market for the price. You can pay a lot more and get a little better reel. But these work great, although the drag's sweet spot is somewhat sensitive. I'm a perfectionist so I'm being picky but as honest as I can. I own 12 of these reels and recommend them to anyone.

I use this reel for trolling for walleyes and salmon on Little Bay de Noc. Been using them for 4 years now and they still work great. You don't need to spend 100 bucks on a reel for it to work as good as these do.

The reel seemed OK, and functioned nicely while it was working. However the level wind mechanism wore out after about half a dozen uses, and now Okuma won't repair it.
