Mainly used for muskies and trolling dipsy divers for walleye on Erie. This is the tried and true choice of most of my fishing pertners. For the price I think it's the best line counter out there. Diawa has a choppy drag and touchy drag setting. The Convector is way smoother in both departments. I already have some.... just adding to the arsenal!

Good reel for the money, but the drag system can occasionally pose a problem. I use these reels for lead-core trolling and for the most part they have been reliable.

This is a great reel for trolling. Let's you know how much line you have out thus allowing you to calculate depth you are running. Easy to reel in line and line doesn't tangle.

I have the 30 & 45 models.

Robust reels - the weight / line capacity / quality / price - relation is "unbeatable" in my books. Acceptable quality from China. A good buy if not a bargain.

I spend summers trolling Lake Ontario for browns and Salmon. The drag is exceptionaly smooth and the Handle is prominent for great control and grasp.I have rigged all my trolling rods with the Okuma convectors.
