Comments about Daiwa Daiwa Accudepth Plus Series Line Counter Reels:

I looked at a lot of reels to target Kokanee fishing. This was one of the smaller reels I found with a line counter.

We used the reels for jigging P-Line Kokanators. Watched fish finder for a group of fish. Used the line counter to target just above the Kokanee.

Used on downriggers less impact but useful in getting everyone at the same distance from the downrigger.

Attached picture taken at Odell Lake Oregon June 2009. Using the Diawa reel with downrigger. In the picture you can see another pole. The reel is a Zebco 33 on a light Kokanee rod. Seems odd but a friend recommended that I try the Zebco 33 closed faced reels. I attached a line counter to the rod.

Comments about Daiwa Daiwa Accudepth Plus Series Line Counter Reels:

Purchased for trolling but tried it for fluke in ambrose and besides the drag being tightened completely, strong currents prevailed in still pulling out line. Twelve ounce sinkers where used; still pulled up hefty fluke all day. ( attached to uglystick ) great reel for those that do their homework.

Nothing like these reels.I bought two of them then I bought four more. They are so smooth and so neat. You just use your locater to find the fish and the depth and just watch the counter until you put the bait right in front of the fish and hold on. I catch more than I can keep every time. Smooth dont even come close.
